Quest guide (spoiler)
Important informationThere are some things you must know about this quest, because this quest is unique in it's kind, there are no missions, you are a real soldier in this orc war, you dont need to do every mission just once, but more then 20 times! and, certain missions can only be done once a day(or longer!) Signing up for the Orc WarIf you live in thais, you probably heard npc Baxter yelling "Volenteer for the orc war!" go to him and tell him you want to join, you can find Baxter here: 
War PlansIf you're lucky, the war plans havent been brought to Baxter yet the past 2 days, always check this at Baxter when you're near him.
If you get this, you're unlucky and will have to wait a few days.
If you get this, go to the Orc Fortress as fast as you can. The maps will start from venore, follow this way to the fortress:  Passed the wyvern mountain there will be orcs of every type except Orc Warlords.  Some Orcs, Orc Warriors and 1 Orc Berserker here.  Lots of Orc Berserkers, Orc Shamans and Orc Spearman here.  On this road you will encounter Orcs, Orc Warriors, Orc Spearman, Orc Berserkers, Orc Leaders, Orc Shaman, War Wolfs and in the last room(end of the blue line) there will be 3 Orc Warriors and a blackboard with strange carvings on it, these are the War Plans. Go there and use the blackboard.  Now go back to Baxter, he will give you 1000 exp each time you complete the war plans mission. Burning the Siege Towers, Catapults and Ballistae.When you joined the orc war, you wont have to ask Baxter everytime for a mission in order to burn the Siege Towers, Catapults and Ballistae. Take a Fire Bug and go to the Orc Fortress, you can find the burnable artillery here:  White cirkel = Ballistae(8) Red cirkel = Catapults(8) Black cirkel = Siege Towers(2) There is no need to bring more then 1 fire bugs, it wont break like it does on the wheat fields. If you did correct, when you used the firebuy on the object, they will look like this:    NOTE: you must use the fire bug on the south east corner of the object, otherwise it won't work. NOTE 2: Once the items have been burned, they will stay burning for about 6 houres, so if someone did it before you, all you can do is wait. Repairing the outpostsYou will need Bricklayer Kits for this, 44 to fix all the outposts once. There are 6 outposts, you can find them here:  Fix the broken walls by using a bricklayer kit on them, once you fixed a building you will get this message:  Then orcs will spawn in waves near the building:  Here are the waves you will get: 1. Orc Berserkers (2-4) 2. Orc Warriors (5-8) 3. Orc Berserkers (3) and Orc Shamans (2) 4. Orc Riders (4-8) 5. Orc Warriors (5-8) and Orc Shamans (2) and an Orc Leader (0-1) 6. Orc Berserkers (3-5) and Orc Shamans (3) and an Orc Warlord (1) The waves might be a bit different because it's rather random, but the Orc Warlord is always last.(apart from building B, there never spawns an Orc Warlord) The outposts you fixed will break down again very fast, don't worry, this is supposed to happen. Achievements
You will get this message from Baxter when you didnt do enough, when you do this you will get rewarded for your achievements: There are certains ways on how to get rank achievements in this quest: 1. Fix all the outposts and burn the Siege Towers, Ballistae and Catapults 2. Fix all the outposts twice. 3. Burn the Siege Towers, Ballistae and Catapults twice. You will recieve 1000 experience each time you do this and report back at Baxter. and once you are a "War Hero": 4. Burn the Siege Towers, Ballistae once. 5. Fix the Outposts once. You will recieve 2000 experience each time you do this and report back at Baxter. NOTE: The War Plans do NOT count as achievements in this quest, it is yet unknown what they are good for apart from gaining experience, but they do not give you rank advances! RanksWhen you join the war you wont get any rank, get 3.000 experience from Baxter to become a Henchman, you will get 2.000 experience when you take this advancement, note that this experience will not count with the following advancement. Get 6.000 experience from Baxter to become a Mercenary, you will get 3.000 experience for this advancement, this will not count in the next rank advancement Get 12.000 experience from Baxter to become an Orc Butcher, you will get 5.000 experience for this advancement, this will not count in the next rank advancement. Get 15.000 experience from Baxter to become a War Hero, the highest possible rank, you will get 7000 experience for this advancement. It is unknown yet if there are any "real" rewards, but once they get discovered, we will be the first to have that spoiler! |
