Test Server: Test on Request

Hello!
The test server started yesterday and there's quite much new things to see, especially behind the great gate. A lot of old monsters have changed loot with creature products, there's a few new quests, an outfit, new monsters and things like that.

Now, is there anything special you would like us to test? A special area or item you would like to see a screenshot of? Want to know something special?

Post in this thread and I hope TibiaML's testers will be able to answer all your questions to the best of their knowledge!
Personally I will travel away to Africa tomorrow, but I might still be able to answer a couple of things today.

got any information on the other smaller quests? everyone is so focussed on the big stuff they seemed to ignore the rest. Has anyone made the prize winning meals?? I'd love to know what my Demonic Candy Balls look like

From the "Loot, Runes and Potions" article:
"Also, runes with a higher than usual number of charges will be transformed into glowing keepsake items which make a nice addition to any house decoration for sure."

I'm wondering: it seems like only runes with a higher than usual number of charges will be transformed. From what number on is that? Since I've seen print screens of runes with 'lower' numbers (great fireball for instance) as glowing keepsake item. What is the definition of 'usual' number of charges? Will the runes with a low number of charges, that won't change into the glowing keepsake items, transform into a stack of runes with the same number of charges? (Say: 3 Great Fireball runes (4 charges) will become 3 stacks of 4 runes)
Or are ALL the runes going to transform into the glowing keepsake items?

I wouldn't want backpacks full of runes going to waste, so I'd really like to know the answer to this, in case I have to use all my runes before the summer update...

Of course not everyone is focusing on the main quest We need chocolate bars to bake the candy balls, and everyone I've met have kept their chocolate in their houses meaning it is quite hard to get one at the moment!
Cip members might be able to give us chocolate later though, so all meals will be tested!

The style of it is like the yalahar quest, but it instead of running to a lot of different NPCs or places in different quarters, you go through only one thing, doing missions on the way (with some running back). Personally I think it is much harder than the Yalahar quest, and it is quite many creatures there at the moment

Don't worry about your normal runes, they will be turned into normal runes which can be stacked after the update.

All runes with more than 50 charges will be transformed into the runes with golden emblem. All runes with less than 51 charges but still more than normal will be transformed into the runes with the silver emblem.

More charges than normal? For example a normal sudden death rune has 3 charges. Those runes will be transformed to stacks with 3 single runes in each stack. If you for some reason have a sudden death rune with 4 or more charges, it will be transformed into the silver one. (for example 10x charges from poi). If you have one with more than 50 charges it will be transformed to the golden one. (for example the 99x charges from the lightbearer event).

You're never sure what demonic candy balls will do, but they sure taste sweet and exciting.

You will get 5 of them in a stack:

Just one looks like this:

They are animated too, with a glowing effect
All 5 give different effects added to each other.

I have not seen a level limit, but you will definitely need a team. It is very long with many missions full of monsters.

No. Your key ring will be transformed into a jewelled backpack with 22 slots and it weighs 17.00 oz. Inside the jewelled backpack, you will find a broken key ring which weighs 0.50 oz. You will be able to sell it to an NPC in Thais or Ankrahmun.
Inside the backpack, you will also find all other items you had in your key ring before the update.

I am very curious what effect do field runes now have on non-pvp? It is announced their duration has been changed, but the wording "harmless" makes me suspicious...:

* Increased the expire-time of Harmless Magic Fields on Optional-PvP Worlds.

Could someone please check how these field (and fire/energy wall etc.) runes affect monsters and their behaviour?
Do the monsters ignore the fields, do they get damaged by the fields?

I am playing on non-pvp and we asked for these runes to finally work as they do on pvp so that we can really use them on monsters in the same way as it can be done on pvp.
So in case these runes do nothing to monsters, please forward this to cip that it is completely senseless to extend the duration of the runes if they cant be USED except for lightshow purposes...



Another question concerns this:

* Dead Fire Elementals do not drop FireFields but "Remains of an elemental"

Do these remains yield any loot? Can these be used or opened in any way? And I saw the loot of Fire Devils will change - what do these drop now?

I am curious because I just mapped Goroma cults first time this week and noticed on the upper floors there that Fire Devils only give junk so far and FEs dont drop anything which is kinda lame and unfair anyway...
There is such a great proposal somewhere that we should be able to use a watering can on the remains of a FE to obtain 1 piece of loot, as it already is with water eles... please let cip know about this in your test server feedback, TY

The fields will stay harmless. You can compare it to a field on a normal PVP world, it stays for x time, and can damage monsters as they do now.

About the FE/FD: I don't know yet, will test that tomorrow

Fire Elementals can now be opened as remains (Vol:10) but do not yield any loot as of now. (Killed over 30 and no loot!)

Fire Devils now drop a creature product called "Small Pitchfork" that can be sold to Malunga (Liberty Bay) for 70 gold pieces and weigh 1.10oz each.

Ah, so that is not so "harmless" at it is now on non-pvp anymore Right now these runes last only very few seconds and are not worth wasting the mana it needs to make them... Looking forward to see the effect of this change myself!

@ Nini: Thanks for the picture(s) Maybe you could write it as feedback to Cip that FEs dont give loot...? Would be evry strange if the remains can be opened and FEs would still not drop any loot at all. I mean, even stupid cobras drop a tongue sometimes

What I really want to know it if the "old" draken loot is improved and how good the new draken loot is. From what I can see they are badly resistant against energy, so the "normal" ewave team hunts will even with "normally profit" loot be difficult to profit.

So if anyone has time to check all draken it would be nice.

I think you need to have completed the new frontier quest to start the one for the outfit, so probably. (I haven't done any questing yet really)

Sadly yes. you must have a strong team to complete some missions. I saw a couple of knights trying and they didn't do it, not without help ^^ (They were level 160 both).
