Tibia ML World Map Details

Written by Steven on Saturday 04 September 2010
We'll soon be launching our "Tibia ML World Map", which we introduced earlier, and want to summarise the features it has. We expect the map to launch in 1 - 2 weeks. All screenshots below are taken from the map viewer.

You'll be able to choose from 2 views, minimap view or satellite view. Satellite view will show the map like you would see it in Tibia and the minimap view shows the little chart from the right top of your Tibia client.

Underground we show the ground floor in grey-scales to easily locate where you're viewing:

We have markers for places and smaller labels for shops, depot... in these places. On hover they'll show a tooltip explaining what the label is for. Btw the red icons are temporarily until we found someone to do better ones.

We also have creature spawn markers so you can see which creatures spawn where:

And NPC’s (in coöperation with TibiaWiki):

We also offer some ways to link map areas for use in fansites, in-game... The available ways of linking are:

Map coordinates: Link to a specific location on the map. You pass the x, y and z coördinate with the link and optionally the zoom level.

Location name: Link to a location based on the name of the location. E.g. allows you to link to Port Hope without the need to know the coördinates of the city.

Creature spawns: Link to the map highlighting all monsters of the kind you specify. E.g. it allows you to link to all dragon spawns in Tibia.

NPCs: Link to a NPC based on NPC name. Allows you to link to an NPC without the need to give his coördinates.

Guides (coming soon): Allows you to mark a path people need to follow and place markers on it. Then you’ll be able to link this path which we call a map guide.
